
The notebooks will integrate Intel Core 2 Duo processors, 4GB of RAM and NVIDIA’s discrete GF900M GT graphics components. Customers will have a choice between several capacities of 7,200 rpm HDD, while battery options should include 6- and 9-cell variants.
gScreen expects to ship the first run by December through Amazon and other retailers. The Alaska-based company is also working on 13-, 16, and 17-inch units. Pricing is still unknown, although gScreen founder Gordon Stewart hopes to keep the cost under $3,000.
